Alani'el Empty
PostSubject: Alani'el   Alani'el EmptyFri Sep 02, 2011 6:52 pm

Just curious if anyone has had any contact from, or remembers anything about, Alani'el.

I had a vivid dream last night about a guy, with a very quiet, almost (but not) shy intensity. There was a sweetness to him I wanted to gobble up like warm homemade cookies, and he let me, in a way, by asking me to bite his neck. He wanted me to taste his energy, and seemed in all ways like a very giving person.

In the dream, we ran into each other after a show or something, by a series of pools people were milling around: I couldn't decide if it was an elaborate house party, or some kind of venue or resort. We were like two sane people in a sea of ridiculous partying, and he invited me to work with him in some way. We spent the dream time getting to know each other, talking, kissing, and cuddling. He was very touchy-feely, but more like a blind person touches than anything sexual. It was so pleasant, when I started to wake up, I went "Aw!" and tried to go back into the dream to be with him some more. That shifted it more to a waking communication: I could still hear his voice in my head, and told him I wanted to come back to say goodbye. He said not to, to "keep the channel open." That was when I asked who he was. He said Alani'el, and I woke completely, sitting bolt upright.

His presence had a wonderfully calming effect on me that has lasted into the morning, and I was wondering if any of you know anything connected to that name.

This is one of those name that actually is unknown to me right now. Either it is part of the scrambled mess of memories that are still untapped and buried deep after the Fall, or I didn't know him.

I can't honestly say that I recognise the name but I certainly recognise the description. I remember meeting someone like that, purely by chance, when I was walking down by the lake. There was a great sadness about him but it was more a melancholy and yet when he realised I was there he gave me such a beautiful smile. i remember a soft voice and a huge sense of calm and tranquility. It was all about the eyes.

Hmm... I know I've seen that name connected with Shadow somehow, but couldn't remember where, or in what context.

That sounds very sweet Ish. His presence pretty much hung around, unobtrusively, all day, and has been very calm and tranquil. I could see there being a sense of melancholy as well, but I hope he'll be around next time I feel low. His eyes were dark, but very warm and soft.

Well, he's still around, so we'll see how things progress. I'm living in a tent right now (with kitchen, shower, bathroom, etc. access - it's a pretty nice setup, and rather typical in Hawai'i) and I thought it was kind of funny when I went out to do morning routines, then came back and felt a presence hanging around my camp. It was strong and new enough to make me go "Hello...?" I heard him answer "Where did you go?" He was able to hone in on me, but apparently not enough to differentiate between me and my stuff.

Hope you're able to put two and two together, Ari'el. You seemed upset to not be able to place it right away, and your and his name always seemed linked in my mind, somehow.

I've been sending out beacons, sort of a "Here I am! Come here!" to any Shadow who may be looking for kindred spirits. I don't know if his arrival is a direct result of that, but the timing seemed to coincide. It felt like the right thing to do, so I'm keeping it up.

That sounds like a really interesting living arrangement, Scratch Smile I would really like to visit Hawai'i at some point..
I'm really glad you're sending out this beacon, and that Alani'el found you. Keep it up Smile. On a semi-related note, I heard that Uri'el woke up a couple days ago.

I guess I was a bit upset about not remembering him right away. I've been repeating his name over and over in my mind since you started this topic, trying to remember or make some form of contact. Not sure if contacting him worked, but I have started remembering. I'm not totally sure yet if these memories are about the same person, so let me know whether or not they fit with what you've experienced.
I remember lush green gardens, maybe even ponds or lakes nearby. He worked in the gardens with me. There were many different plants, grapes, at least one tree that sortof stood out from the rest of the plants around it. I think he was my apprentice. He was tall and thin, and had a boyish appearance. I think he had light brown hair, maybe about ear length? he was very sweet, kind and gentle, even innocent... He was just a boy.
I also feel sad...and afraid that something might have happened to him.

Ok when I saw this post I had to read it..why..don't know..because honestly right now I cannot remember anything about him, best way to describe my reaction would be like I snapped to attention *shrugs* wait...did he have sandy blonde hair??? Or maybe you mentioned that already..sorry.

And yes Uri'el is awake..he contacted me Friday night, I felt this huge male presence standing behind me and the first name that hit me was his, I said the name in my head and his reaction was like "What the hell happened??? " he is very sad, depressed and confused. Not sure if anyone here on the forum had any unpleasant experiences with him and if so I apologize. Could also be that he's been awake and has been denying his true identity but now has accepted the truth and is trying to find us..or maybe who ever he can come in contact with.

Seems to be more waking up and trying to contact those of us who have been awake for a while.

I hope that is the case.

I have nothing against Uriel any more than anyone else who was involved on the other side of the fight so to speak. It might be a horrible thing to say... possible the most horrible thing that anyone can say about another but he was a bit of a non to me. Although that might be because I didn't have much to do with him, if anything, and Sem didn;t talk about him

Well I thought that Alan'iel was my beloved for a while, which is terribly awkward and for which I apologize.

When I began to recall Alani'el instead of placing him where he hadn't been, I also remembered someone sweet, quiet and boyish.

Old topic is old, but caught my eye. And by caught my eye, I mean I did a could of double takes.

I remember Alani'el. But every time I mention his name, I just get blank stares. He was one of my closest friends and confidants. He practically raised Keziah (who mentioned him in her introduction several years ago) after she split off of me and I took off.

As far as personality goes, the way I remember him is also quiet and sweet, but hidden under a layer of sarcasm. He was laid back and soothing to be around; one of the few who could keep me in check, but he had his anxieties, too. I do not remember his full job, but I have memories of him at least putting in a stint helping to run the main library.

I am not currently on speaking terms with him because of a stunt he pulled maybe eight or nine months ago, so I am not sure how he is doing now.

you know, i think this is the first time i've ever seen this topic.... but still, it's incredibly familiar, i think this guy frequented my library at some point, i get the sense of a very shy, bookish kid, kind of docile, a wallflower, but still very sweet!~
