The Moon

I haven't been able to see the moon at night at all for a few nights in a row now. I'm not sure about tonight, but it was a waning crescent on Wednesday and Thursday at the least, so at least a sliver should have been visible. Even tonight I can't see it.

Has anyone else noticed the moon to be "gone, or am I just going wacko/getting worried about nothing? Honestly, I'm starting to freak out a bit, cuz this is DEFINITELY not normal if it's not just me.

Okay, apparently, tonight's a new moon over here which would naturally make it much harder to see, but those other two nights when it SHOULD'VE been visible, it wasn't, so I'm still concerned.
