If you could create any kind of world at all -

literally, *any* kind of world, magic included

- what would it be

That's a tricky one. I would like to say a world where everything is at peace and everyone is equal. The problem is that I don't think such a world would exist. Perfect peace and equality brings stagnation. If there is no impetus for change there is no change and there is no creativitiy.

Again, if everyone is equal there is no thrust to make yourself better than who you are. There is no impetus for self development.

I think therefore I would create a world where there is more love and respect, where there is way way more magic, where people are not afraid to dream or to be themselves, whoever or whatever that may be. In my world, people will respect each other and lack of respect is dealt with by polite and respectful, but if necessary, strong rebuke.

People will be respected, not by ridiculous political correctness and freedom of speech, thought and action will be not be absolute but will be accomodated in so far as they respect and do not infringe on the rights of others. No one has the absolute right to anything, not if it hurts others.

Respect would mean that any offense created by freedoms can be aired, discussed and resolved rather than fester or be imposed or demanded.

In my world people love, like and help each other. Every person's goal is to make the most that can be made of themselves and their lives and to help others make the most of theirs. No one is isolated or abused. Everyone knows too much about themseles and each other to allow bad things to go on behind closed doors... becuase there aren't any.

No 'religion' is allowed dominance. Everyone is allowed to worship as they wish or not to worship if they choose. No one is allowed to impose their religion on others. Meetings, dicussions, community are all allowed but no special position, no special allowances and no position of control or prominence will be given to any one over the other.

No one will be permitted to stop anyone doing anything that is respectful and considerate of the rights of others, and no one can suggest that it should be stopped unless they can show a very good reason. Personal belief, religion, politics etc are not good reasons.

Hmm... I think that will do for now. Everyone is welcome in my world

Equality love and respect are good measures. I also like what you say about "no closed doors"
