Those of you who remember Gabri'el - just lay it on me - as always honesty is the best policy Neutral

As i remember Gabri'el he was dark haired and sometime of a loner. He could be brooding but he could also laugh. I think he played a musical instrument but he played mostly for the Council. I didn't seem him at our gatherings very often... he only came to deliver messages.

He was officially a 'messenger' but he didn't give messages as we understand it today. His messages were 'physical' as well as preactical. Sometimes it was to say that members of the council wanted to speak to someone or to 'escort' them; but sometimes it was to 'deliver' the word of the Council by carrying out sentences, or taking someone somewhere, usually against their will.

Gabri'el was secretive and untrustworthy. His first loyalty was always with the Council and he would sometimes be treacherous.

He was a friend of Rapha'el but they were often fighting over his loyalties and his dark side. He started to hang out with Micha'el and after that things went drastically wrong. In today's terms I guess that Gabri'el was a bit emo and Micha'el was a complete meathead. After that he kind of separated himself from his friends and went to wild parties... no, not really but he did get involved in the nastier side of politics being egged on by Micha'el

Because of his positiong of messenger he could go to and get into places that others couldn't and was useful to Micha'el.

My biggest arguement with Gabri'el was that he was the one who delivered the curse that caused me to lose every child I have bourne since. Strangely enough if I had been living in any other time I would not have bourne my children either. I would have died giving birth to my first.

When I was among the Shadow as friends, I was one of his closer associates. I don't remember him having dark hair =\ it was white-blond in my recollect. And his wings were large and white and sort of grey around the ends so that they looked like they had been sopped in grey water. He was on the Council in the early times, and helped make a lot of the decisions that ran the rest of the Shadow world and bureaucracy. Before I rebelled against those systems and fled Eden, he and I grew very close, as friends.

This is all that I can recall for now.

I still carry a few of those traits with me Ish - secretive, a loner and at times emotionless. I have always been the "odd one out". Yeah I remember the political side of the hierarchy - hence the reason why I absolutley LOATHE politics today. Raph and I were very good friends - he could be such a smart ass when he wanted to be but very direct and spoke his mind to.

I do believe I started out with the dark hair, that was my first vision of myself - then as my attitude changed I decided I wanted blonde hair like Ash described - Razi'el and I recall a similiar memory where I had short blonde hair with blue streaks , I told Raz I had my rebellious moments - guess that was my emo phase Shocked we were gathered around a bonfire and someone was playing a musical instrument - may have been me and Raz was dancing and laughing...happier moments.

Contrary to popular belief I did not enjoy a majority of the tasks I was asked to carry out - after a while it created a lot of wear and tear on the soul, that's why I became this emotionless zombie when doing my job. As for Micha'el...yeah will post about him when I tell my story.

Ash - I remember having close associations with the Sidhe, like I said in my post on "Names of Shadow" I recall two female Sidhe elders, and a male Sidhe warrior that didn't like us much. I vaguely remember a close bond as friends, the feeling and image is there but then becomes blocked by pain and maybe betrayal???? Don't know if you recall how you and Azra'el came to know each other so well - perhaps it was because of me, Azra'el and I were very good friends, my memories of him are bitter-sweet. I considered him one of my best friends I guess you could say. I'm still working through those memories and I feel that we all had a falling out before the war started - you were very important to him.

Gabri'el was ambitious, the strongest and most prevalent energy that surrounded him in the early days. He wanted to be a voice for the Source, he wanted to know what took place when he wasn't around, he wanted to know what was held back from his knowledge and experience. Gabri'el was also curious!

He was a loner, kind, gentle, but easily led. He had a streak within his nature that led him down lonely roads where most wouldn't venture. But some of us knew of them and knew of his travels. He wanted answers but refused to go through the normal channels of exploration and research. Some manipulated this side of his nature, promised him much, gave him less, but used his position to improve their own standing. The Seven was split, then reformed and he got his seat. I have often wondered if he felt it was worth it. Bitterness and at times what seemed almost regret was always close to the surface of this emotions from that point on. Did he realise what had happened?

Gabri'el never saw what he had, just what he didn't have. He forgot the gifts and abilities the Source had given him, and wanted what would have been his in time but without the waiting. He became arrogant, but so did most Shadow before the Fall. And, I have to say, so did we, the Grigori, in the belief that we could live peacefully having broken such laws.

I remember Raz playing a musical instrument. I forgot that. He played it at the party. He was one of the mischief makers in a very playful way

Az - You just described me to the "T", funny how we have carried those traits with us over the centuries - and in this lifetime I feel closest to my true self (before the war) for whatever reason. And to answer your question if I thought it was worth it to sit on one of those "God forsaken thrones" ? - NO it cost me more than I could bare, of course I only realized that after it was to late.

I pray that one day you could forgive me for actions as well.

We were an arrogant race - and that arrogance cost us all.

Let me try to clarify this a little bit further so that you have a better understanding of what was the true purpose of our mission.

About 13000 BC or so I and Az were assigned to produce a warrior species that had little if no conscious and easily controllable and was inadvertently willing to die without a cause. This was well before our pact on Mount Hebron!

After the War with Lucifer and his fall, I the others we were sent by the light faction here to this solar system because they needed a new form of warrior without conscious and easily manipulated and not easily identifiable by genetic structure makeup! We were apart of the covert faction called the shadow who secretly still held allegement to Lucifer.

The light faction no matter how much they professed non violence after the war had still needed an army to protect them that was totally off the record. We only knew of one place so capable of achieving this task at that time and it was Erra (Earth)!

Our first genetic success were the Cro-Magnons who were successfully harvested and sent to the light for further testing, however, at the same time I had came up with the Neanderthal dna which was much more resilient for the purpose. They were harvested and sent back to the light faction for further use and purpose in the field.

It was about the time after the second harvest that, I felt that we as a group could produce a much better breed but unbeknownst of the light faction my feelings had changed and I hatched the idea to perfect the existing remainders to make a more perfect resilient body with less aggression and better tolerance through the use of their minds over all other beasts for overall survival purposes.

Thus the agreement and breach of contract on Mount Hebron. We had (207) not counting me, Az and Dan to agree that if there should be retaliation of any sorts that I as the leader alone would be held accountable and none of the others would be held accountable or persecuted.

However, Az and Dan stepped behind me and stated that they too would be held accountable no matter what!

They (the faction) were kept abreast and held under the impression that we were still in the process of producing a third generation for further combat purposes.

So they left us alone with our work for a long while. I had convinced them that we needed no further supervision and were quite adequate by ourselves!

In the meantime we had our lives to live alone from further interference from the faction. However, unbeknownst to us an infiltrator was left in our midst by the light faction to further observe our progress. Eventually in later time he ended up turning us in to the faction without us being aware. I thought I had filled all the gaps so that the information that leaked back to the light was favorable for us but, I was wrong this one was to close to us and knew too much.

As chief geneticist I was producing a cross breed and had my hands full pretty well much a majority of the time. Thus I left most of the other responsibilities and activities to Az and the others down through the chain of command in the field work. I had little if or no tolerance for any unnecessary BS or stupid questions to get in the way of my work.

More later

If I betrayed Gabri'el or you betrayed me, I have no idea. I won't dismiss it. Vaguely I wonder out loud if there same a moment that I was forced to "choose sides," and when his wasn't the side that I chose, he was shocked and betrayed. Seems like it could be likely as I have such strong ties to the Fallen today, and you were on different sides of the fence for quite some time.

Ish - Yes! i did play an instrument, a lute or something similar i think! though it'd be wonderful if i could learn the guitar (those darn strings are hard on the fingers!)

Gabe - i don't remember much about you, truth be told i haven't had nearly as many memories as the rest of you guys... but i do remember people usually coming to me to talk. the quiet library was often the home to many a heart to heart from many of you guys!

from what i remember, Gabe normally had quite the cold exterior, even to me, actually. it was only when he really had a taxing issue on his brain that he ever came to talk to me. even then i was more of a sounding board, though there are times i remember him (or her, it depended on the day) helping out with many tasks regarding the medical areas. you were a very good singer as well! not nearly as good as that one guy, but i dunno.

Ash- Sorry it's taken me so long to respond to this...I am so busy lately...but this is what I recall of Azra'el....he was a good friend of mine and quite funny actually....he had a very calm, cool exterior and I suppose as a female you would say he was very charming...but he could be a mean son of a gun when he wanted to be....(weren't we all????) He was one of those lethal "shadow" that would sneak up on you in the shadows...(no pun intended) and mess you up pretty bad....he was a good soldier and very, very loyal.

Once he met you he changed...not in a bad way mind you, but he became even more fierce than before...he loved you and he and I had a little falling out over it....of course at the time I didn't understand his feelings for you, he became very distant and all of his thoughts were diverted to you and your well being

I was present when he died and I do believe you were there as well, If I remember correctly you may have blamed me for his death but it was not me who was responsible...to be honest I don't recall who was...but I promise you it wasn't me...just know he loved you and died defending you...well that is what I can remember anyway....It hurt like hell to lose him...and that is all I can remember at this point. Hope it helps

Raz - Ok my friend who exactly was the other guy??? LOL and wow I could sing???? lol! It's to bad that talent didn't follow me through the ages....oh well.... geek
