Well, long story short I lost my job. Or maybe I never had it to begin with :\. Two weeks out I was told that I was hired, said "awesome," moved into a slightly more expensive place. Day of moving was told that they had never heard from me (despite me leaving two messages and calling 5 times) and had hired someone else for the month.

So, I'm like, okaaaayyy.... I'll have to just tough out the next month. Somehow. And now am being told that although they said they would hire me on next month, that they can't because of some legal issue. So... hmm. Panic.

Good gods, that's shocking!!! I'm so sorry to hear they have messed you around like that. Is there any legal redress you can apply for from them?

I have no idea how to raise that much money in such a short period of time other than sell possessions and as Ish as said, ask for donations.

Someone suggested crowdfunding, (or busking) so I think I will try that :\ Wish me luck

Things are building. I haven't promoted the indiegogo so much since I was trying to revamp it and make it better. I think I got a more legit project to work on - opening a spiritual center in downtown Hilo called "Peace Center of Hawaii" Details to come.
