| I remember bottles that contained wine. They were gourd shaped with a pale sandstone colour. They were sealed with a wax seal which had a pattern on it that i can't recall.
I don't think that it was something that the Shadow routinely drank but they certainly made the most of it when they with me.
The wine was sweet and thick, like mead only sharper, and a dark burgundy red

| This sounds similar in look to what I've seen them drinking in my recall too. | |

| i think that wine was made from a very rare fruit that only grew in the gardens there... i'm not sure if it was created by the Shadow or not, but yes, i remember the drink. i get the image of these dark, burgundy red berries, they looked sort of like cherries, but they had very small seeds, and always grew attached to a second, like a siamese twin, about the size of a small stone together.
does that sound accurate?

| I can't tell why that drink suddenly seems so important, but I do remember it, and how much I enjoyed it. When I look at how I really see myself, I'm almost always holding a glass of it.
It seems like something more than just wine: kind of like port, but I don't think the difference is simply in the potency, or what kind of fruit it was made from. That could be my tendencies toward lush-hood talking, though. There's something epic in my mind about that particular drink, but I can't put my finger on it.

| Yes, it was more than wine... thicker and sweeter. I don't know whether something was added to it or whether it was made that way. i think it's effects were stronger than wine too... or maybe it's just that we drunk a lot of it | |

| Honey as added to the fruit, as well as a mix of herbs.

| The 'feeling' I get is that it was made by the local Human tribes, only the recipe was tweaked by Shadow and Kin to help add an extra kick!!

| Oddly enough, just now, I was mulling through a memory of Shuzari's that he had shared with me in which wine was minorly involved, and the details of the wine in question began to come through.
It was a special wine called the Lover's Kiss. It was so-called because just one sip was enough to immediately put one into a very short stupor as soon as it touched their lips, just like a lover's kiss, hence the name.
I remember it being thick, deep burgundy, and very sweet but with a touch of spice, very similar to the wine you've all described. The spice was noticeable and distinct but certainly not overwhelming; it served as the perfect compliment to the sweetness. As I've described, I remember the wine being very potent; even the vapors could put one into a weak trance if said vapors were inhaled for long enough. The Lover's Kiss was a wine meant to be drank in moderation, but could certainly put anyone on their ass if they drank enough of it at once.
Does this sound like the wine you guys remember?

| *snigger* I know someone it put on their ass, but maybe not in the way you'd expect. It involved a musical instrument, a table and tickling. | |
