Dragon magik?

Lots of goddess magik recently. How is the goddess connected to the dragon? Are we one and the same, goddesses and dragons, or complimentary to each other? If complimentary, how do dragons support goddesses? What do goddesses offer to dragons...?

Sometimes I sense a white dragon around me, mammoth and kind and very supportive of me as goddess, but I often feel I don't know how to work with her.

Have you encountered dragon energy in your life, whether connected to the goddess or not? How do you work with them in your own life, if they accompany you?

I can't definitively answer most of your questions. I feel that it probably depends on the individual dragon and goddess.

I also have a white dragon with me. She is a protector, a guardian, a warrior. She held my goddess self inside of her until the goddess was ready to wake up.

I feel other dragons watching as well. Old and wise, living in the stars far away, yet able to see and interact here.

Thanks for answering I guess part of it would just be to speak with mine but we don't speak the same language at all, not even telepathically. It's the same as the block I feel with most animals maybe... I see the intelligence there but no idea how to access it.

It may sound corny but Danerys Targeryen inspires me a lot recently, especially that last episode. Anyone watch Game of Thrones here? I almost felt like I could put my right hand out on the snout of mine by my side... But it's more a source of power for me, and a magickal support.

Do you have trouble speaking to other spirits like that that are of more of an animal nature and less humanoid? I've never had a problem with communicating on the spiritual/telepathic level with entities like that. I guess I just didn't realize it might not come naturally to others as well. I wonder how you could bridge that gap. I often find that I communicating with them is more of a feeling and an intuition, like energy and pictures, than actual words.

Not corny at all! I love Daenerys and her dragons <3. And this last episode was definitely awesome and inspiring.

Maybe that came off wrong.. Sorry. Do you get any sort of feeling from your dragon or other animals, more than just the sense of intelligence? In my experience it can be vague and only sometimes comes in actual words. But a lot of meaning can still be shared in the flavor of energy, body language, and so forth.

Your advice helped a lot Ari'el, talking about energy and pictures instead of words, she has been talking to me just not in ways I was understanding. I also found that for mine "talking" about past and future was kind of a no go, for the most part. She did tell me that she followed me here from the stars and she is here to lend me power and strength, and she did tell me that in the times to come I must lean on her and call on her as much as possible. I tried asking her more about her origin, why she followed me, what will happen, and she refused to give details beyond what she had already told me. I had the sense that she simply wants me to "stay present" with her. Like as often as possible to acknowledge that she's there, reach out and touch her, and that's the strongest magik that we can do together. It almost feels like a very physical relationship. Is your dragon at all like mine?

My dragon also followed me from the stars. I know a little bit more about her origin. Very early on in my existence as something "separate" from the Source, I lived among Dragons that lived out in a cluster of stars somewhere, I think. I was paired with her then.

And then there was something about us both being on some big Galactic or Universal Council.

She was with me very intensely around high school. I was going through awakening then and had a group of friends that were in to some dangerous stuff - like fighting evil demons and messing with very negative entities. While others in my group sometimes for possessed or experienced physical symptoms, I never did. I think she was protecting me. She was basically constantly around and she'd be telling me about what she thought of things and sometimes I'd let her speak through me. I actually thought that I WAS her. Like she was my higher self and I wanted to merge with her, you know?

Eventually I figured out that that wasn't the case and I got pretty upset. She hasn't been around as much or as obviously since then, but every now and then she shows up pretty strong. And I know I can call on her whenever I need her. I've tried to reconnect and make things like how they used to be, but I just don't have that same relationship with her anymore and I miss her. ...But, I just now got the insight that she's been distant so that I could explore other aspects of myself.

For me with animals it's more on a empathic level rather than on a say verbal/telepathic one. I can just sense certain things sometimes just out of the clear blue, so to speak!

I've searched my heart many many times trying to figure out rather or not they (dragons) actually existed at one time.

But I for one am a firm believer that spirit can in fact and most certainly does and will manifest itself to you in some form or shape that makes you feel more comfortable with that which you desperately wish for in order to more fully perceive and be totally and finally cognizant of.

A clear perspective gained through a lot of discernment just doesn't come over night.  It's something you must practice and study with patience because sooner or later when you least expect it... "Bamm" it will be there for you with the right answers and at the right time.

Ari'el I'm happy to hear that your dragon also followed you from the stars and a Galactic Council sounds intense and Very Important. What sorts of things did the Council council about?  I love how our spirit friends (I really do!) make room and space for us to grow and evolve, though sometimes I wonder if they truly understand that we have relationships with them that we cherish. There's so much different about the spirit world compared to here, they don't tend to understand the full emotional impacts that we feel in the physical world of "separation" on the other side of the Veil, that I've found anyway.

Ousa, I think part of the "record" of dragons existing was struck from the collective unconscious somehow. They do exist, they tell me they exist, but like you when I search my heart I find no "evidence" that they exist. It's a curious and kind of sinister disparity... Like someone ripped their pages out of the dictionary somehow. Usually, evidence of all things can be found in what I call the universal record. Kind of like the "Akashic record" only I don't access that because it was also heavily manipulated, things moved around to be where they shouldn't, and tons of information purposely omitted. The Universal record is simply the accumulation of all things that have ever been known by humanity, and I find it very easy to access for some reason, but we're all connected to it all of the time. Where "dragons" should be, there's kind of a scorching white spot. It's meant to appear as if they were simply never there, I'm sure, but around the edges of the spot there's little scraps of dragon song...

The whole Council thing is fairly fuzzy to me still. It was composed of representatives from all (?) the advanced races. I think we kept Balance, and sent out armies if we had to.

Hmm, yeah I'm not sure if they understand these relationships in the same way we do. I think you're right in that they focus more on the greater good of the person instead of the more personal and emotional aspects of the relationship.

I'm sure dragons exist. Perhaps on other worlds or planes. But they exist. I've known many and have even had a few lives as a dragon. Whether or not they've existed on Earth, though, is another question. There are legends and mythologies about dragons all over the world, so one has to wonder where that idea came from. If not actual dragons, perhaps dinosaur bones? lol. I also searched my heart and memories and can't specifically remember dragons being on Earth, whereas I can remember the Shadow being here. I find this strange, and that hole ripped out of the Universal record is strange and intriguing, Ash. I don't remember where or how I came by this information, but I remember there being something about the dragons all leaving en masse. I'm not sure why. And I think Mary (what I call my dragon) said something about them not being able to get back in physically.

I don't think it's coincidence that goddesses and dragon are connected. Dragon represent primal female power, the Yin, of the universe, despite the Dragon's gender. Although I understand the debate. Anyways a lot of Goddesses are associated with Dragons. In fact the term Dragon Lady used to be a compliment instead of an insult.

I don't know if I have a Dragon, but the goddess I (supposedly) am has an association with Dragons too.
