Well, I figured it was important to introduce myself here. I'm Ezikiel, so feel free to call me that. I'm not really sure what else about me you want to know...

As for how I got here, well... I was talking to a friend about a problem (so to speak) that I have. I was also telling him about some other things, and he introduced me to someone (though I don't know what they are called here) and said that the person would be able to help. So after quite some time, I'm finally here.

The main reason I'm here is to just understand all of what has happened and is happening to me. I've tried to figure it out, but I understand little to nothing about these things. So... I hope that through the site, and you other users here, I can gain a little better understanding of what's going on.

Start off slow and easy and work your way up in steps or just bits and pieces so that you are always at a comfortable level!

It's good to have you here. Just a suggestion if you want to keep it confidential go to the members only section, the visibility there is a lot less revealing and I feel you will be more comfortable with the results and answers given!

Hang in there and just take it one step at a time you'll find both Az and Ish and the moderators like family!

Welcome Home....

Thanks for the advice. I'll probably start slow, since a bit of the things involved in the discovery of this site are a bit awkward for me, and some slightly personal. But I'll do what I can to understand this.

As for the confidentiality, I was trying to seem like I was trying to be confidential. I just don't know what to call the person who introduced me to this site.

And I hate to sound so new to the site (even though I am), but where should I start?

Not to sound prosaic but from the beginning, is as good a place as any!

Greetings and welcome to the forum Ezikiel,

sorry for the lateness of my welcome but I was feeling sorry for myself and struggling to cope with yet another bout of cold that dragged me down. But, lots of healing, lots of chocolate and an occasional hot toddy has slowly changed me from feeling like a zombie to just looking like one.

To echo what you know and what you have been told, the best way forward is just to look around the site, see how things go and then post when the time is right. Most of the forum is open to the public, apart from the Memebers section, which is only visible to those who are registered members. So anything that you'd rather keep a little more private can be discussed in there. Otherwise, in your own time, just post and share and ask and ponder.....

No one here has all of the answers, but some of us have faced their awakening a while ago and have more experience of issues than others. Some have greater insight than others regardless of their awakening. Some are just annoying and can hit the nail on the head every time! wink.gif

The most important thing is to go at your own pace. We're all still learning and growing, trying to understand who and what we are, what we need to do and how to shape a future that is not filled with the mistakes of the past. If we can help, we'd love to help, if we can't, we're here to share out time and thoughts and walk with you as much as we can.

We're not a large forum, but there aren't many of us that have awakened and found this site. Those who have are either Shadow or have links to us and so have been drawn to this site to reawaken old ties, and work together in sharing knowledge. We're all friends here.

Welcome, and if anyone can help, don't hesitate to speak up, either as a post, a pm or an email, when the time is right for you.

One of the things which immediately drew me here was this forum's ability to make me feel, ahem, normal. Everyone I've seen here seems to understand that normalcy should be taken with a grain of salt even on the best days, but I was only able to find peace in myself after being able to say, "This is happening to me, and I don't know exactly what it is or why, but it's real."

I don't know what your "problem" you referred to is, but the overall tone of the sentence was familiar. I used to think way too much crazy sh** happened to me, until it occurred to me it's not actually crazy (beneficial, when I'm not afraid of it) and definitely not sh**.

So welcome! I hope you find some answers, or at least who brought you here.
