| This has fascinated me since I joined.
I know the symbol of the peacock to mean immortality or carrying on after death. May I ask what the other symbols in it mean?

| I apologize for double posting here, I didn't want to make a whole new topic for a small thing I just found and wanted to ask about.
I just now came across a quote I wrote down in an old book of mine.
"You learn about equality in a classroom and you find out about it in life"
Does anyone know where this came from originally? I googled it and I cannot find it, and for the life of me I cannot remember where I got it from.

| The symbol that we used to use on the old forum was of an eye, and all the meaning associated with that. Here the symbol is of Melek Taus, the Peacock Angel, a godform that was meaningful to the Shadow and holds a lot of deep wisdom and power. The symbols are one persons interpretation of some of the meanings linked to Melek Taus, but personally speaking I find them confusing and of little relevance to those of us who have awakened of the past couple of decades. So I am in the process of illustrating a new version of this, one that will hopefully resonate with all of us today. Without wanting to be too specific, start looking at the meaning and origins of Melek Taus and it may well start making sense. There have also been some posts made regarding it, in this forum, and in threads that have been 'Archived' from the old forum. So am I being deliberately vague? Yeah!! Az | |
