Dream or Reality?

The night is beautiful out there,
It is clear and pure.
Twinkling stars are strewn across the firmament,
Moon is looking down on me.
He was the only one who has seen my latest tears.....
The moon and my friend...

“Listen to me, my oaken friend,
today I am not weeping out of frustration, self-doubt nor sadness,
this night I am coming to share my tears of joy with you.
I have friends,
People who do not ask,
Who do not judge me.
Have I come home at last?
After roaming so many sites and webrings,
Have I come home at last?
No words that I need a professional, nor other words of discrimination.
No words that my kind is not welcome.

Do not shake your leaves, it is no dream.
I hope so.
It is hope and joy.
And I hope there is more to come.”

That made me smile. It's a very beautiful poem and I certainly hope it's a reality.

Thanks, Ishtahar. It is not only "a" reality. It is "the" reality.
I cannot live in concrete cities, making me sick. So, I live outside in the country where there are fields behind my house, a little forest in a short distance, a little creek sometimes filled with water but rather scarcely because summers are without mercy here and some single trees.
The old oak has been my friend some time before my awakening. As human understanding was very difficult to expect, I always go there to share joy and pain, depends. I feel understand and I feel compassion, feeling me and the oak have one source.

And the rest will hopefully become a reality.
