PostSubject: Integrating into the world   Sat Dec 17, 2011 10:48 pm

Makin moves...

I think it's time to integrate the knowledge and wisdom that we have into the world. What does that mean... well, it means that it's time to make ourselves known to the new age and wider world community. The more I talk to people about metaphysics and magic and the "hidden world" and "hidden selves" the more they thirst for it. I know that the world is prepared to know who we are. I want to work on having us become world spiritual leaders, progressive leaders, who can awaken humans to the histories and realities that they've forgotten. How to do this...

That is the question, right? How do you start to integrate in the world at large? I'm writing essays and hoping to be published to new age texts. But I'm open to suggestions. The crisis in the world seems to be spiritual as much as anything. So to solve the crises - economic, military, social - we really have to be guides to the world. To do that, we have to start telling people who we are. There are people who want us to step forward.

What do you think?

In trust

I'm not sure I'll be able to express just how much I agree with all you have said in your post......... and yet I haven't a clue how to begin or to get the message across.

I am still doing everything I can to get my work on the Grigori published, yet I am failing at this as none of the major publishers seem to be interested in taking my work and publishing it. Everyone I know now, knows about the Grigori and Shadow and our history. People they know have been in touch with me via email or facebook etc to find out more....... so I am doing all I can the spread the word, yet it is slow and nothing seems to be happening fast.

To be honest I have begun to consider setting up my own publishing company and trying to publish novels, spritual works and collections just so that news of who and what we all are, all Kin, gets out there. I have also considered trying to make a small video to post on Youtube telling the story as we know it currently, in music, pictures and text.

I have lots of ideas, but very little money and ability to make all my plans happen. Yet I also hope that 2012 will be the year that things will start....a year for us to make ourselves known so that as the battle begins in earnest at the end of next year we will at least ave a presence and knowledge base in existence.

Az

Hey x

You are not failing. You need a support system.

We need to support each other to make ourselves known. How can we support you Az? You are working and producing and have the knowledge and the drive. What is missing - only the avenue, which comes from the community that you have helped to support for this very reason.

Ash is right Az - this is the part where we all come together to make this happen - this is our time of unification - stand together and support each other even though there are those individuals out there who do know who and what we are and why we came back - they are also aware of our intentions of "waking" up the rest of the world and allowing them to see the truth.

They will try and keep us from accomplishing this but I believe we are strong enough now to overcome them - you know where I'll be next year so whatever it is you need from me just say the word and I will do my best to get it done - looks like you have 2 of us ready and willing to support you and the rest will follow suit...I'm pretty sure of it Smile

Thanks for your support so far on my ideas......... time for one of us to win the lottery and be able to invest in setting up the press and starting the task of getting our work out there!! I'd love to do it and still hope that somehow the Universe will provide in 2012 so that it can begin.

So what else needs to be done, how else can we integrate what we know into the world?

You know my position. When my house is sold I am going to invest money into your publishing company hun,.

I have plenty of books to publish there and I have a three or four that directly involve Shadow and the Fallen. Once we have the facilities I have the materials.

Cheers Ish, that means a lot to me, as you know.

So what does everyone else feel should be done?

I think it is a great idea to write books and share our story with the world. I would like to write something myself someday, though at this point I'm not really sure what. I think I'd like to write something based on my story, though how to make the plot exciting enough to read....something for me to think about. However, that is not what's driving me right now.

For me, I feel that I need to help awaken and ascend people. I know for sure that I shouldn't do this by joining any specific spiritual path or religion, as that will instantly exclude me from the people that I'm here to help. Instead, I will live a "normal" life in the real world, and let the Source guide me to those I should help. I'm still in the learning phase, and my intuition is leading me to contact people that I would never have had the courage to reach out to before. I'm hoping this will help me find enlightened people to teach and support me in this endeavor, who I can talk to and bounce ideas off of.

Although I imagine this is obvious to all of you I feel the need to say it anyway: if your intuition is guiding you and you feel absolutely compelled to do something, then you should follow it, no matter how strange it may seem. Smile

I also tend to think that putting things into print is one of the primary ways to get the message across. I've published a couple of things based on my own beliefs, and received goodwill, emails encouraging me to get something longer into print, and my ideas are based on a few of the same things we've discussed on the board over the years. I'm not Fallen though, so my own path is very different than yours. I'm Collyridian, and a djinn-kin, so it gets interesting. I'd love to support the endeavors of those of you writing here on the board.

Which reminds me, and this is a question I've had since I first joined the board...what about the members of the Fallen that don't read or write English?

well... all i can say or suggest for the random other ways to do it would be to talk, offer psychic readings and services to initiate people into the ideas; as the new agey things are becoming more popular, the more unusual it seems, the more likely it will be to attract attention (discretion is advised, though, there are quite a few nutters out there, religious and otherwise).

publishing does sound like a good idea, find a relatively affordable publisher and whatnot... though.... admittedly priesthood isn't sounding like such a bad idea.... in fact the thought has been stuck in my head for months for some reason.

Finding a publisher can be easier said than done, but I was part of a Egypto-Hellenic group that would collect their rituals, poems, magicks for various deities, and had published three or four books by the time many left due to a new person leading the group. I'll have to go back and see what publisher it is, but there is also of course Immanion Press, that published Lupa's books on the subject.

As for the priesthood, and I think I wrote it here somewhere a long time ago, I wanted to be a priest when I was little. Then my grandmother told me I couldn't be, as we were Catholic and I wasn't male. My genderflexible self wasn't too pleased with that answer, and she suggested being a nun, but it didn't have the same draw. So I became a librarian instead? Suspect I figure either way, I'm helping inform.

I think that's a good idea about contacting the publishing press that released Lupa's "A Field Guide to Otherkin" Veil. You're also very right that publishing is easier said than done.

Raz, I think that you're right that doing readings and spiritual work and most of all talking is a primary method to integrate our knowledge into the world at large.

I watched this incredible and cohesive documentary recently, that addressed many of what I had already become convinced are global problems and added significant solutions. The movie if you're wondering is called "Thrive" and you can google it for more info. The only thing that seemed "off" to me was that they talk about the increasing evidence of ancient civilizations and attributed it to ETs. I might have thought so but when I watched the film I had the overwhelming intuition that that was completely wrong and that they needed to turn "inwards" - to acknowledge the past that we speak about here, about the Shadow and the spirits of the world, not about Extraterrestrial lifeforms. All the miracles including the crop circles and everything else I firmly feel originate from right here on Earth. I think that we have to address knowledge to find solutions, and that that knowledge has to be accurate. So even something as seemingly minor as mistaking where ancient civilizations derived from could have major implications for the world, because we won't address the proper avenues to fixing our world.

Few people know about the complexities of those ancient civilizations... the people in those movie - fairly influential, "sane" people - seem to feel that it's as simple as "the secrets of the ETs were stolen from us" and it's not.

I think that that's part of our responsibility now, as people who have remembered the truth... to see to it that it is used.

Anyway... As for doing lots of talking Raz, while I feel like that is what I should do, personally, almost instead of writing, I'm not sure how to go about it. Like... do I just start talking about Shadow/Angels out of the blue o_o .... ?? The people that I watched "Thrive" with, I did end up saying that I thought the parts about the ETs were off and talked about Annunaki and so on... and... they seemed to soak it all up

As Admin I'll answer this as honestly as I can. I am not able to offer the forum or any of our writings in any other language other than English, as this is the only language I currently speak (even though my typing at times looks like I'm drifting off into another language!) so whilst I would love to have the forum and website available in other languages, it's not possible. And so far neither the web hosting company or the forum hosting company offer a translation service.

If hopes and potential plans do happen and I end up being involved in setting up our own press and imprint, then I would be looking at, in time, ways in which anything that was printed would be available in other languages.

Az

If any member were able to offer translation into another language would we be able to work with that Az? On the website if not on here?

It is possible, although it may have to be edited slightly to fit the size of the website

It's not a perfect solution, but you could also add the Google translation gadget onto the site. I looked up the site, and used the gadget to translate the first page into the languages I can read reasonably well, and it was not a total disaster. LOL
