When I was killed so long ago, Shuzari's anguish and despair was apparent to everyone, even humankind...
Apparently, in time, a myth based around our relationship sprung up in the human population. The myth—fairly short—went like this:
Once and forever, Earth and Death were deeply in love. But one day, Death was murdered, and now, in his anguish, Earth swallows the dead in a desperate attempt to reclaim his lost lover.
The myth was supposed to explain why when corpses were buried beneath the earth, they're completely gone so many years later, and it was also meant to explain why corpses had a tendency to decay in general regardless of their location (mostly on or beneath the ground).
I just felt like sharing. If anyone knows of or rememebers any myths about themselves that the human population from eons ago had started, feel free to share. =)
