Can't remember

I was told Azrael would visit me in my dreams, being a slight skeptic I didn't believe such so I thought nothing of it, but when I fell asleep it felt like I was still awake but standing in complete darkness, this being approached me not sure what he/she looked like only felt his/her presence, but during the dream the being opened a book before me and these words started forming on it i white. I don't remember what it said, like it's sitting in the back of my mind waiting for me to remember, but I'm not sure how to. It's been eating at me that I remembered what it said, but the moment I came to reality I couldn't remember.

It sounds as if a seed has been planted and, as you know, seeds can't be forced to grow. all you can do is feed it the best you can with sunshine and rain (openness and acceptance) and hopefully one day it will grow.

i know from experience how frustrating it is when it feels that knowledge and wisdom or some really important memory is just out of reach, but it comes eventually. be warned though, sometimes I've wished with all my heart I'd remained in ignorance

I admit I'm ignorant to a lot of things and I wish I wasn't, but how would I go about remembering? There's different meditations that come up.
