AH YEAH~! I can't believe I found this place again, it took forever. I greatly apologize for disappearing suddenly, my laptop went kaput and I lost everything, then I had to get enough money for a new computer! But now I'm back, and far greater than ever.

Much has gone by since my last visit, there is much to explain, but that will be for another post!

How have you all been?

By Razi'el Nov 24 2009 -

i've been doing good, myself. i'm sorry to hear things sudden when balls up for you, man... but hey! welcome back!~<3

By Dreamsend Nov 24 2009 -

I'm glad you found us again too! o_o

I was thinking just the other day... "Something's different recently. ........Where's Riley been???" LOL I missed your voice!

I've suffered many a suddenly kaput PC myself and feel your pain. I'm happy it worked out for you with that!

Much going on and much to explain sounds about right on my end too. Glad you've reconnected.

By Azaz'el Nov 25 2009 -

Its good to have you back Riley ..... as Dreamsend has said, I too have had many a hassle with computers dying on me.... fortunately I have this address imprinted on my brain now so I generally can remember how to come back here....

.... being Admin I suppose that's helpful!!! blink.gif

As for how I've been, generally fine. Some ill health, some spiritual problems and a heavy Samhuinn, some crazy deadlines to reach and massive work for 4 exhibitions next year.... but generally ok. And still doing all I can to get word out about us to all of the Fallen and those Kin who have links to us.

By Scratch Nov 26 2009 -

Exhibitions? What kind of work do you do, Az? Don't have to share if you don't want to, I'm just curious.

By Azaz'el Nov 27 2009 -

One of my jobs is as an Illustrator and artist. So whilst I've just had one commission for another childrens books cancelled due to financial difficulties with the publisher, these Exhibitions have come along and hopefully mean I can make some money and good contacts.

Hope so! Way to live one of my dreams.

By Azaz'el Nov 28 2009 -

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Scratch, living your dream isn't easy but its very worthwhile!

~ The Calling (Khalil Gibran)

Let me sleep, for my soul is intoxicated with love and
Let me rest, for my spirit has had its bounty of days and nights;
Light the candles and burn the incense around my bed, and
Scatter leaves of jasmine and roses over my body;
Embalm my hair with frankincense and sprinkle my feet with perfume,
And read what the hand of Death has written on my forehead.

Let me rest in the arms of Slumber, for my open eyes are tired;
Let the silver-stringed lyre quiver and soothe my spirit;
Weave from the harp and lute a veil around my withering heart.

Sing of the past as you behold the dawn of hope in my eyes, for
It's magic meaning is a soft bed upon which my heart rests.

Dry your tears, my friends, and raise your heads as the flowers
Raise their crowns to greet the dawn.
Look at the bride of Death standing like a column of light
Between my bed and the infinite;
Hold your breath and listen with me to the beckoning rustle of
Her white wings.

Come close and bid me farewell; touch my eyes with smiling lips.
Let the children grasp my hands with soft and rosy fingers;
Let the ages place their veined hands upon my head and bless me;
Let the virgins come close and see the shadow of God in my eyes,
And hear the echo of His will racing with my breath.

~ The Ascending

I have passed a mountain peak and my soul is soaring in the
Firmament of complete and unbound freedom;
I am far, far away, my companions, and the clouds are
Hiding the hills from my eyes.
The valleys are becoming flooded with an ocean of silence, and the
Hands of oblivion are engulfing the roads and the houses;
The prairies and fields are disappearing behind a white specter
That looks like the spring cloud, yellow as the candlelight
And red as the twilight.

The songs of the waves and the hymns of the streams
Are scattered, and the voices of the throngs reduced to silence;
And I can hear naught but the music of Eternity
In exact harmony with the spirit's desires.
I am cloaked in full whiteness;
I am in comfort; I am in peace.

I like Khali Gibran and that poem is so apt right now

Very beautiful. Thanks for sharing, Ouza. And thanks for the crossed fingers, Az. In another sense I have been living my dreams, in a BIG way lately. It's the most wonderful rollercoaster ever.

By Azaz'el Dec 2 2009 -

Maybe we can all end up buying tickets for that same rollercoaster soon, it wouldbe a fun ride to all work together.

Maybe we should. There are enough writers, artists and researchers here amongst us all........ perhaps we should apply ourselves to creating the best website for Otherkin/Shadow artwork and history out here!!

By Ishtahar Jan 6 2010 -

Why not? I've been writing A LOT lately and it's what I love to do. I have written some stuff about shadow but not really a history as such. I need to update the stories at the beginning having had so many more memories since I first wrote it. Hmm... I should start that now.
