I was informed about this site by a good friend of mine, Keziah and I was curious so I joined.

I believe myself to be an Avatar, Maahes. It seems like this is a pretty nice and open minded site, so I thought I'd join and see how things are =).

Not quite sure what else to say, if anybody wants to know anything more just ask. I'm terrible at coming up with things to say on my own, haha XD.

welcome to the forum. As you can see, we're a lively and mixed bunch of Fallen, Shadow, Kin and Humans. I hope you enjoy being a part of this growing family of friends.

We try to make sure that this forum remains as open minded as possible, so that it can be a place on the internet where we can all come together and meet as friends even if we have been opposed in past cycles and events. Here we can all chat and discuss openly and honestly, respecting the views of others but knowing that we won't always agree.

The members section is only visible to members and so more private or personal thoughts can be posted there without non members seeing. Thats also the place where the password for the chat room can be found.

Jump in, join in and I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself and perhaps begin to gain some understanding of where we all come from and the journey we have made so far.

Welcome to the site Mahaas. Not much to say really, as usual Az has said it all.

Please feel free to jump in at any time and if it is possible to get into chat one evening it would be lovely to talk to you.

Oh, what is an Avatar....I mean I know what I think and Avatar is but I have learned that people can have vastly differing understandings of terms I thought i knew the meaning of....so I suppose what I am saying is what is an Avatar to you?

Thanks =). An Avatar, to me, is a deity who has incarnated into a human body (going through the process of birth). I don't usually like using that term, but I find "incarnated deity" a little too...ego-filled in a way.

Thanks for the warm welcome all of you have given me. As for my journey, not quite sure where I'd even start or even how to word it, like I said in my first post that I'm not good at offering information, its much easier for me to just answer questions; but I'll try. I also welcome any question at all, I'll answer any question to the best of my knowledge.

When I was about 5 or 6 years old I was struck by lightning, since then I always felt different but didn't know what it was(I believe that lightning strike may have triggered something in my etheric body that led to the following events). By the age of 10 I had learned some basic things about energy, although I didn't know what I was doing was called "energy work" or "energy manipulation" at the time. It wasn't till about age 12 or 13 when I started getting sick and weak when I didn't draw in energy from other living things. After quite of few years of this, I had become pretty good with controlling energy; I had started doing more and more research on things such as this and started learning more about other religions, about this time I was fascinated with the goddess Bast (having loved felines my entire life). The more I learned the more close I felt too her, till I decided to try to talk to her one day. I rarely pray, I find it too one sided, and have always felt this way; so I simply starting talking too her and expecting an actual reply. What I "heard" back was a very motherly tone, a sweet voice, and a very beautiful heart. It wasn't as though I was hearing voices in my head, or hearing voices out loud, it was as if words were being directly placed into my heart. One day I began feeling something on my back, and sometimes my peripheral vision would pick up on the edges of what appeared to be wings. After more research, more conversations with Bast, and some meditation I had come to (what I thought was)the conclusion that I was an angelkin, an incarnated angel who served Bast. At the point this started happening, I lost my need to drain energy, it was like I was becoming a battery of energy. A short time after this "conclusion", my wings no longer appeared unless I called them out, I began to think they were simply energy constructs that I subconsciously created. One day I was reading some information about Kemetic deities and a certain phrase stuck out at me: "There is very little difference between an angel and a god in the Kemetic pantheon" . I suddenly had this spark of curiosity, what if Bast had a son? I went looking and realized that she did, Maahes. The more I read about Maahes the more it began to seem like somebody had been watching me and writing this about me. It seemed like a perfect fit, I asked Bast for an answer and she simply told me that once I was sure on an answer myself, she would either confirm or deny it. Since my awakening as my true self, Maahes, I've many other confirmations. In a moment of doubt (which isn't always a bad thing to do, doubt reminds us that we are still sane) not too long ago, I had closed my eyes and questioned if this was really who I am, I opened my eyes and there were a couple cats sitting there staring at me, to me, that was another confirmation. I felt it in my heart that Bast had sent them too me for comfort.

As for any reason I'm here, I highly doubt there is some special reason. But I do believe there is a reason I'm here, just as every person has their reason for life. It's what you choose to do with the life you're given that gives your reason importance or not.

I also noticed wings on myself when I was younger that seemed to come out only when I called them as I found out more about myself. With doing energy work and not realizing it, I think that many of us started out that way, too ^^ That's awesome. It's wonderful to know where you come from, and who is watching over you. I'm sure they're very happy, too. I think that many "other" souls that are incarnate have a sense of purpose, or duty. Thanks for the info about yourself, I found that there are many things in your journey that I also identify with ^^.

I wish I was as open and brave as you are! When I started having the dreams about me being an incarnate angel, I could barely handle that...took me a few years to accept it, let alone learn to embrace it. But when I started having dreams that told me I was a goddess, I shut them down immediately, even though they were almost more persistant than the angel dreams. I only wish I was given a name to research on dealing with angels, rather than being given the name of a goddess! Oh, well. XD

It took me a little while to get my head around it, but in the end you remember and find out the truth ........... then you just wish you could tell the world it is wrong about you. But hey, I'm getting there.

Ah yes, there's still quite a number of people who think I'm evil.

Sigh.

It's a shame that anything non-human that isn't cute and fluffy and light is written off as evil entirely too often.

I know what you mean Keziah, a similar thing happened to me. It took me a long long time and many nudges, some harder some more gentle, to own the name Ishtahar. It took a metaphorical kick in the butt by my brother to make me finally begin to see that it is impossible to escape from who or what you are no matter how much you hide. Wherever you go it is there, wherever you look it reminds you becaue it IS you,

A lightworker is in my experience, and I am sure other people will give you other explanations for it has connections in many working fields, someone who works and heals with energy, light.
Lightworkers can be indigos, starchilderen, step ins, ...
Preparing the road for what is too come.
