Awakening

A little help?
Hello,
So to be honest, I feel odd asking this because I've always believed that the Fae and things of the like were in fairytales only, or in a realm that would never touch ours. But, odd things have started coming up in my life and I'd like to get all these pieces of the puzzle fitting together.

So, most of the Females in my family are Pagan/Wiccan of some sort. I was curious of what my Mother had been doing in her Circle groups so I went to one of the meetings with her, relatively interesting stuff. After the meeting, the High Priest came up and looked me dead in the eye, completely serious, and said "You have more power in you then you think, stop blocking it." That was almost four years ago now and for some reason it shook me to the core. Then about 3 months ago, I did the Shakespearean showcase and did a Ariel's, a fairy and my namesake, Monologue from the Tempest. There was a moment during in the performance where everything just......clicked? The best way I can describe it is the part in Nanny McPhee when she slams her cane on the concrete and sparks fly. Anyway, right now I'm taking a mythology class in college and we had to do an essay on Faeries and Other Little People. During my research, I found "Otherkin" and kind of Check list on a site called Embracing Mystery. I spent two days pouring over that article and other similar articles about Awakenings and such and found that I have MOST of the traits of a fae. Also, I went to the UU (Unitarian Universalist) Church with my mom for service one Sunday and the next Sunday the Priestess/pastor told mom that I was fae. Please help, I don't know what that means and I want to figure it out.

Anyway, what I'm trying to ask is it possible I'm fae? I don't know and I really want to figure this out because for some reason it's been the only thing on my mind for a while now. Please and thank you.

No one can tell you whether or not you're fae, your kintype is something that you need to discover on your own. No one can tell you who you are.

Update: The other day I got an Angel Aura Stone,I've recently started doing meditating, trying to fit all the pieces together. I put it on a chain and went to do my daily meditation. What happened next is hard to describe but I'll try.
Almost as soon as I centered myself I was transported to a forest that almost seemed to be buzzing with energy, except there was a heavy mist, so not easy for me to make out the shapes that kept coming in and out of my sight. I called out to the figures and one came forward. She was a smaller version of me with much longer hair (I recently chopped my hair to shoulder length). She wore a long flowing dress with a daisy chain crown, but it was her wings that I noticed the most. but split into two sets of wings like dragonfly wings, they were also the same color as my Angel Aura. A ring of sky blue energy encircled us both and the little fairy smiled like she knew something. She then turned into pure energy and my own form absorbed her and I took on her form, wings and all, only the size of a human.
I could feel my new wings on my physical back and even tried using them but only managed the slow flap of a bird instead of the fast beats of a fairy or hummingbird. I tried a few times and could physically feel the drag the wings created. Eventually the drag got so great that I was dragged back to my physical body. Before I left though I heard the little fairy me say "We are connected by Mind. We are connected by Body. We are connected by Heart."

I feel like I've taken my first steps toward awakening but I'd like someone help me make since of the above story? Please and thank you.

There are very few rules in the forum and they all boil down to one simple rule and that is we respect one another. Included in this is that we never tell anyone they're not what they are/believe they are. Part of the purpose of the forum was to allow people to explore their newly awakening understanding of who and what they are and we're very committed to providing a safe place for people to do that. that doesn't mean you can't challenge people's beliefs by expressing your own views that conflict with theirs. i truly believe you can't explore the depth of your belief until it's challenged.

So, no one will tell you you're not fey. On the other hand no one can tell you if you are. Only you can know that.

Ever since my birth everything seemed to be an exercise of relearning and trying to fit in which i successfuly never did until later on in life. As you can imagine almost all of us here just don't belong and find our minds and souls residing somewhere else in a time and a place that the so called norm says just cannot exist.

Each and everyone of us comes into this world a clean slate with little or nothing to lean on for support except when we like in this case here in this forum find mirrors to reflect on. Sure I want to be reassured that what I am thinking and going through is not for naught! But those voices of reassurance are not always there as we would like the to be. So I wait and I wait until the time is afforded to me to finally go before my fellows and talk with a strength of conviction and own up to that that I know that you truly are a being of light, knowledge and love through discernment consciously put from from living a day to day existence.

Yours is such a case and I believe that your time is now in order to effectively put what you feel and what you know for a fact down on paper and begin to make a path for youself and those others that are in your circle of being to clearly follow to the betterment of yourself and to the whole of mankind.

First fear not to take small but calculated steps for you will find that creation will put always before you a means of self-realization at every turn that you take even if it doesn't feel like it at the time. It's what we call faith in that we know to be true to in our being for this lifetime and lifetimes to follow. Know that you know that you are loved and accepted in self by those who truly care and abide with you in your day to day affairs for they are all tools to be used in the final goal to truth and understanding.

So welcome and be at peace with self and creation for all is here for you to use for your search true awareness! There are good people here only if your willing and patient to know the real truth!

Call it an extra sense if you will, but you probably are if you have strangers telling you they see yours as great power and others flat out saying yours is of the fay . Many are, it's really not that unusual
