My name was Dani'el. Very long time ago.

I am here to learn more about my past, so I could better understand who I am today, and above all, which path I want to take from now on.

I think that I will just sit down and read for a while before I decide to post anything. I must admit that I have never been a member of a forum before, so I will take my time until I get acquainted.

Greetings and welcome to the forum Dani'el,

take your time, read through the threads and post, get used to us all and then post when the time is right, if the time is right.

All we ask of each member is that they respect the views and opinions of all members as we will respect yours. Being a member of a forum can take some getting used to, and it can be even stranger to finally have a chance to talk openly about how we feel.

As Ash has said, the name Dani'el has been cropping up for some time now and whilst there have been many people with that name, one in particular has played an important part in the journey of many here.

Yes, Dani'el is a common name, and I think that I know why. I remember wandering around, talking to people, doing things for them, and they would always ask me for my name. It seems that I was very popular among humans in that lifetime.

There's no doubt that Dani'el's energy is around strongly.

You don't have to and will not be asked to justify yourself to or be judged by anyone and I will be the first to slap down any attempt to.

But I hope you will apreciate the reasons why some of us will be hesitant with you because Dan was and is so important to us.

Trust me. I am Dani'el. That is probably the only thing I am absolutely certain at this moment.

My awakening was tough, and I must admit that it took me a long time to realize and later accept who I was, although I must be honest and say that I still haven’t accepted it fully. But hopefully, that will come with time.

I am Gabri'el - the Dan I remember represented the best in all the shadow, would do anything for any of us - even his brothers he wasn't to fond of, he was dedicated and loyal. He and I may not have been very close but I did have a lot of respect for him.

Many of us knew that Dani'el you mention, Gabri'el, he was the best of all Shadow and I hope that he will return to us one day,

I remember you Gabri'el and I must say that you were always one of my favorites. Still are.

I am sorry to disappoint you, but I no longer am who I once was. Without going into details, I will just say that I have fallen not only as a Shadow, but also as a human and as a person. Unfortunately, little has left from the being some of you remember.

Please, don't get me wrong, most people who know me now would tell you that I am a very decent, but somewhere deep inside I always knew that I was much better somewhere in the past although I could never tell when or where.

I had my flaws, even then, but at least I have tried to overcome them.

That was one of the best lives I have ever lived, but that path is no longer mine.

And the fact that you are idealizing me Azaz'el, just tells me how much you have loved me.

None of us are completely who we were, not fully, it's not possible to be so having faced the Fall and all that has taken place since then. But as you get to chat to members of the forum and read through the threads and posts and our experiences you will see that many of us are still at heart the essence of our true selves.

Life has been tough for all of us and the suffering we have faced has left scars and deep wounds. But as with all things this Universe has to offer, we learn and grow from them and continue to evolve. And I personally believe that this can make us better than we were, stronger and more whole.

Thank you for your observation, but please rest assured that I'm not idealising you, Dani'el, I was referring to the Shadow that shared heart and soul with me in the First Times and who I pray to the Source I will meet again soon.

Sorry I'm so late to the party in welcoming you, but my internet connection just came back up after a few weeks. I have to admit I let out a gasp when I saw your name... as has been said, there is both current and distant history there, for many of us. Make yourself at home, and let us know if you need anything.

You have acknowledged that you are still searching Dani'el and perhaps one of the things you are searching for is a link back to your true self.

One thing I am absolutely certain of is that the four of us need to be back together, not just in person but in force. We need to link again and be what we once were. This is one of the main forces that brought Az and i to create the site and forum in the first place. To find ourselves and our friends again.

We need to be together again. We have to be together again. It's not enough to remember who we once were we have to become who we once were. The energies and power we had between us needs to come again. Whether this is the life for it or not, I don't know. But I am absolutely certain that it must be.

There is no need for you to apologize, Scratch. Yes, the two of us have a bit of shared history from a very long time ago. Or at least I think.

It seems that some being representing itself as Dani’el is visiting you from time to time. May I ask how did the being looked like, felt like?

Ish, I honestly doubt that I will have any important role to play in the future. I am just an ordinary human being, living an ordinary human life, trying to learn more about myself and about my past. Universe is not going to break down without me. I am sure in that.

I need to thank both you and Az for taking an effort in bringing us all together again. It means a lot to me. I have been asking questions about my past for quite some time. Now I can finally find some answers.

I have not been on this site for very long, but I just wanted to welcome you!
Although I am not Shadow I was excited to see your name as well, because, having read through many posts in the forums, I have seen it several times.
You have a deep sadness about you, and feel somewhat lost. This seems, to me, to be the case with angel-kin in general, but your sadness seems greater to me. I do not know much about The Fall, nor of the past lives of Shadow but I think that being here with all of the others will be comforting for you, and perhaps, help soothe some of your sorrows.

If you really think that then you are either fooling yourself or you are not the Dani'el I know and love. None of us can be ordinary human beings. We can try to hide in that comfort for a time but the power of who and what we were cannot ever leave us because is it so much a part of what we are and were. Our bodies change but our souls cannot.

My soul and my spirit as are they were. And so it is with all of our friends and family. Our minds and memories are clouded but as much as we might want to turn our backs on the truth or to pretend to be merely ordinary, questioning, humans it's a fantasy. It's nothing but a comfortable delusion to make us feel safe when we aren't. In so many ways we aren't safe.

Trust me, I can be the sweetest person you would ever wish to find but I have no doubt that there is a power in me that could shake planets. The fact that i cannot access it doesn't mean it isn't there. I'm sure that all of us, if we are honest are able to look inside can find the same burn.

If you can't then you have either lost it or never had it. In either case you should question whether you are going down the right road. You can't hide from this, none of us can. Isn't that why we're here.

As each new members joins the forum and begins to post in threads and share their thoughts, emotions and memories, we all learn, we all grow, we all become more whole. The forum came into being so that we could all find each other, share, remember, unite and head towards unification. It is generally believed and accepted that the four who were key in the events leading to the Fall needed to re-unite and work together once more. This would help to open the Gateways, not only physically and spiritually, but also in the hearts and souls of many linked to us in the First Times.

Shadow cannot work alone in this, we never did and can't now. That is why it is vital that all Otherkin, regardless of what they are, group together and unite with us and each other, to bring about a greater Unification whilst we, Shadow, work on our own Unification. Only through this can we be ready for the battles, perhaps even war, that has been predicted and prophesied.

I guess this is why is may come as a surprise that you feel you have no role in our future, Dani'el, and that you are perhaps just here to learn. All the messages and information that has been passed to us from the spiritual aspect of "Dani'el" has backed this up and helped guide many of us. Perhaps there is more that you and the rest of us need to understand and recognise. Perhaps we all need to question again our heritage, our memories and understanding and re-evaluate all that has brought us to understand the nature of who and what we know ourselves to be.

Thank you for your concern violetskies, but there really isn't a reason for you to worry.

Many of the people who know me in this lifetime tend to think that I am sad even when I am not. There is something about my demeanor that makes them feel that way. It has always been like that, as some of the members of this forum can confirm.

As for feeling lost, I do. But, I don't have a doubt that I will find my path again. The only question is where will that path take me.

Ish, in that case I have lost it because I don't find anything in myself that isn't or at least cannot be human. I just do not feel myself as a Shadow anymore. If I ever truly did.

Az, I will try to help as much as I can, but I honestly doubt that it will be in any other way than as a moral support.

That's kind of a huge question, especially as to what he feels like. There is sorrow there, but also joy, and one of the deepest capacities for love I've ever encountered. He's selfless almost to a fault, and very intent on doing what he can to bring us together and harmony to the world, though his human side seems to stand in the way of his efforts out of fear.

As for what he looks like, that's an interesting question. There seems to be a very deep divide between his human self and the angel, though he first appeared to me as a dark haired man with tattoos. Now, sometimes I see the golden haired angel, sometimes the man. It seems to depend on which side I'm talking to. I'm not certain how that works though, since I get the impression his human side is not entirely conscious of, or denying, the conversations we have and the spiritual aspects of his existence.

I'm curious how you identify as Dani'el, if you believe yourself to be an ordinary human being?

I can relate to some of the things you have said about him, but I still doubt that it was me.

Not too long time ago, I was told that I was not yet aware of my true self.

I am a dark haired woman in this lifetime, but there is some androgynous quality about my face that makes some people mistake me for a young man.

How do I identify myself as Dani'el? I know who I was, I know where my soul was born and who has created me, but I do not feel as a Shadow, somewhere deep inside. It is hard to explain. That world, that life, is distant to me. I have tried very hard to feel any kind of bond with that race, and failed, over and over again. It feels unnatural to me to call myself anything other than a human. Maybe you are right when you say that I am denying my spiritual side.

I never thought it was you I've been talking with, which is part of the reason I asked how you identify as Dani'el. As Ish said, I'm confused by how you say you know who you were, but do not identify as Shadow, in any sense (from what I've read). Doesn't that contradict your calling yourself by the name of one?

I tried to deny who and what I am for a long time, but my true nature only exerted itself more forcefully in the face of those efforts to convince myself I was imagining things. If you keep trying and failing to feel that bond, and it feels unnatural to call yourself anything but human, that doesn't sound like you're denying your spiritual side to me. Rather, it sounds like you're trying to forge connections which aren't there.

Awakening is a process of continual revelation, and we know our own selves better than anyone else can. It is best to keep an open mind, and be willing to explore possibilities as they present themselves, without limiting ourselves by clinging to one idea or another. It's tricky, but I would have missed out on a lot of things that have proved essential for me, if I had decided anything was absolutely true or false.
