Source of inspirations.

Merh...I wasnt' sure where to put this. It's not exactly a memory, just a conversation/experience I had on the astral plane a few years ago. I used to have the ability to travel to the astral plane effortlessly whenever I wanted with no time at all. I could just be sitting quietly and go there without concentrating. Now, I have to concentrate extremely, or go in my sleep. I miss the strength I used to have.

Anyway!

When I was about 16 (the height of my intake of knowledge of past lives), I was told by a being, whom I believe to be my spirit father, about how certain inspiration is given to people on this planet to help the rest of us. Sometimes certain beings, named to me as "sages," will take on a human counterpart. It can be for a long or short period of time - just for however long it is a productive situation. The sage will act as a spirit guide for the counterpart and help them in their life, but also show them true things and "inspire" them to put messages out into the world. These messages are meant to comfort and educate us, and also to help awaken us and to receive "secret" messages. Subtlety is a wonderful, exceedingly lost art - and one must be well versed in it in order to properly detect and understand these messages. Sometimes a sage will only act as a "muse" to a human for one particular song, or book, or whatever it may be. But, usually, it lasts for a couple of years at least.

I had wondered recently how some songs in particular seem to have very *specific* and non-coincidental connections to things that I was going through, and that may be why. Does this mean that many of us who create are all giving each other messages all of the time? Interesting
