I was a mere six years old when I had this one. It remains very vivid in my memory...

I was standing in a circle of light with two men. (we were all about 20 years old.) One man, blond and blue eyed, wore a jujitsu outfit and carried a sword. The second was black haired and brown eyes. He was clothed in a tae kwon do outfit and also carried a blade. Outside of our circle of light was complete darkness and a growling snarling demon that we could not see.
The men decided that we had to get out and the only way out was past the demon. I begged them not to go into the dark, to allow me to challenge the beast. They refused. I watched them, helpless and left behind, charge into the darkness, swords leading. I could see nothing but I could hear the enraged yells of the demon and the cries of pain from the men. Finally, they emerged. Whole but bleeding from cuts and gashes. They both feel to the floor exhausted.
They sat there panting, wondering what to do but I knew what had to be done. I picked up the blonds sword and headed for the edge. The men screamed at me to come back. They screamed that I would die. I ignored them.
This is the only dream every where my perspective changes. I always see from my own eyes, the same as we see awake, but this time, when I entered the darkness I was watching from above...
I entered the dark and fought the demon. I could feel the pain of his claws, the bite of his sword, and the hot blood I was losing but could not see anything. Finally, I stepped into the light. (once more seeing from my own eyes) and the demon fell behind me, dead. I walked to the men and fell to my knees. I handed the sword to the blond and told him to clean his blade. He cried that the blade didnt matter. He cried that I was dying.
I lay on the cold stone (feeling the coldness seeping into my skin) and repeated my reminder. I died whispering for him to clean his blade. I woke screaming....
As a side note, I met both men later in life. Both were into the martial arts Jujitsu and Tae kwon do among others.... the blond had a sword.... it had been cut because he cut a friend while sparring...... and not cleaning the blade...

It certainly appears that the dreams you have contain a strong link to the physical world surrounding you. Do you keep a dream journal?

I am sorry but I am not sure I understand what you mean by the dreams having a strong link to the physical world? Do you mean the people I dream of? Or what happens...??

anyway, I do not need to keep a journal really since they never leave my memory but I do write them out all the same. Helps to get them out of my head.

I suppose I mean both the people and the places......... in the two you have shared with us so far there have been strong links with either a physical place or person/people, rather than them being metaphorical or linked to a past life experience.

There are dreams that I have not shared of bloody long ago battles with swords, horses, and powerful warriors. These I do not share much for they are very fragmented and in pieces.. parts of pasts that I can not remember once the dawns light breaks...
