*GASP* SAR!!! *pounces* where the heck have you been?! oooh, i have dozens of questions!!

Well it's a long story, but that's to be expected I suppose. The funny thing is that in the last year in one way nothing significant enough to explain my absence has happened. On the other hand, so much has happened, I might just have lost track at some point.

Either way, it's been an interesting year or so. Learned some lessons, felt some joy, felt some bitterness, with the amusing touch of madness every now and then. I've soared and fallen, as we always do. I guess those who have fallen never really stop falling. But I'm sure I'll soar again soon enough.

Until then, I'll tear through earth and stone through will alone.

And how has life treated you, friend?

like you, it's been very interesting, and i've met a couple friends who have helped me unlock more and more of my memories and taught me more about myself than i thought i knew.

i've been bouncing border to border, home to home, but altogether i've been well.

Well now that that's cleared up, it's good to be back. Nice to see the forum's still alive and kicking. Missed you too Ish. I even tried to call you on new years eve, but you know how the connections are. We should chat up. So Ash, what happened? I assume Ashtart is a Sumerian form of the later Greek Astarte? I'd like to hear your story.

I discovered a bunch of names for myself over the past year or so. One of them was a name that you all - the Shadow - called me. The first that I heard this name used was a vision of myself walking very slowly behind Az in a forest and he turned around to me and said "Ashtar" and then something that translated to "pick up the pace." After that I had a couple other visions of Shadow calling me Ashtar.

I ended up doing research on Astarte by accident and what I learned was too close to symbols and messages that I'd received over the past couple of years. Doves, stars, royalty, lilies.... So yes, it means "Astarte"
