Faerie form

My "wings" in my body since I began to perceive them, are wings of energy and light, not "flesh"... In other words, energy that came from my back that happened to take the shape of wings. Since that time, I have had the phantom pains on and off, and the feelings of "limbs" that weren't really there, but I didn't think too deeply about this, since it didn't make sense to me to have both non-wings and actual wings... so I was surprised recently to find myself seeing myself with actual wings, instead of something that simply looked the part... like iridescent blue-purple dragonfly wings, fluttering...

This change in my perception of myself as 'kin started around Samhuin. At that time, I was honored to receive a crown... which I have perceived as being made of hard strips of some sort of bark (birch or hawthorn maybe...) pointing upwards like daggers, fastened around in a ring. Since then, I've perceived that on my head more and more often...

In the last couple of weeks, is when my perception of my 'kin body began to change. Now, in my mind's eye, or when catching a glimpse of myself in a reflective surface, I seem to always see myself with that crown of bark, with skin tinted slightly green and long ears that stick out from the sides of my head, and long blue-purple wings.

Your growth and perception.... all coming together in time for Imbolc and working in the world!

I can agree... that in addition to me... and my form and function, much is "birthing" at this time that is apparently going to usher in the end times/new age of prosperity. (anti-government riots.....? just the tip)
I've been feeling the urge or "permission" to be open about my "non-human"-ness ... as if this is a very important sort of thing that I have to start discussing with those around me... I don't know why... validation of self, and validation of others... Certainly, it seems to be apparent that I'm in good company, the more that I talk about it.

Likewise, I have had the urge to be open about magick, and finding that there is a thirst for that from the people around me... Those who say "Yes! Are you doing ritual? Where???"
