Past Life Themes?

Do your past lives seem a common thread? Do you reincarnate into a similar role, class, occupation etc frequently? I'm curious because for me, I tend to be some form of female warrior, in Japan I was an Onna Bugeisha (more than once, actually, I'm very tied to Japan), in Europe I was a Viking and also a Celtic warrior (I don't remember those two very well). Even now, I get called an Amazon but that's because I'm nearly six (6) feet tall or 182 centimeters tall with a bit of muscle.

So does anyone else have a common trend in past lives?

I find myself mostly threaded in the military in some form or other, however, I believe my last lifetime was as an African American Gumshoe just before the war, if you can believe it or not. And before that as a Northern blue coat who ended up running from the war, ending up in the west marrying an Indian girl and living our life out together.

But I always seem to be running away rather than facing the situations in hand.  Mostly dealing with trying to find that missing piece in my heart, which I was so happy and fortunate to find with my wishglow she is my alpha and omega!

Being here on this site has opened a lot of what if's and what were's/are for me although still a lot of question marks left to be dealt with.  I could go on and on about writing a book but it would be too long and most certainly boring to those others who cannot or would not understand the actual truth behind it with the so-called fall of man.

I am glad, that you have chosen this site, in order to seek solid ground to walk and think upon.

We all have chosen the red road for whatever reason and it must certainly have it's given pitfalls along the way in order for us all to learn who and what we really are/were and will be.   For it is us who will ultimately dictate this lifetime as well as all those others yet to come with the road ahead ..... One step at a time!

I often reincarnated as a noble, mostly in Ireland. I love Ireland and seem to have left it rarely

Ousa, I am glad you found that missing piece...I thought I found mine but well... this man in particular didn't take the "I'm an incarnated deity, don't know how or why but I want to know and I need your support to breakthrough" thing to well. Neither did most of my "friends" offline to be honest. Who could blame him, though it resulted in a heart wrenching breakup

Before I came to this site I, too, struggled with running towards and running from. This is really the only site I can call home with people I can call friends and allies. I never felt that before. I believe in destiny, the Wyrd or what have you. Us being here in this time on this site is NOT a coincidence. I have no problem saying that. In fact I say it with the utmost confidence and certainty. It was this site that gave me that self assurance

I'm sorry to hear things didn't go well with him, Lili'el. Showing your true self to someone and them not taking it well can be very rough, I'm sure... *hug*

I'm glad you've found a home in this forum. It's been a special place for me as well, where I've met people I feel a strong (and ancient) connection to. It has also helped tremendously in my self discovery. It is too bad that it has been so quiet here for so long.

That's cool, Solalethiel. Do you still feel drawn to Ireland in this life? I feel drawn to many places around the world which I haven't been to. Places like Scotland, Greece, Egypt, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii... Maybe I lived there in other lives.

As far as the original question, I'm not sure whether I have common themes through my past lives. I know I've had quite a few, but at the moment I can only remember a small handful of them... I thought I had remembered more...*shrug*... But of the ones I do somewhat remember, I often was involved in spiritual/magical/religious things like being an Egyptian priestess, or a Native American medicine woman, or things like that. And/or I also had a close connection to animals. Both of those are true in this life, though I'm not sure if they were true in every life.

You know, I did hear another Point Of View saying that only certain past lives impact others. It's certainly possible

I wasn't a priestess in Egypt, but I was a gladiator is in Rome at some point. Geez, all this fighting XD I'm a lover not a fighter lol. I DO remember some...courtesan past lives buuuuuut those weren't as common as the warrior ones.

Quick note ... the Red Road represents our current lifetime and how we are to survive the results of our choices made that will ultimately have an impact on ourselves as well as others.

Since i don't remember much details of said pastlives, i can't tell if it influenced me and if yes, in what way =/ But in one of my pastlives, i drowned. And even in this current live, i'm still afraid of water and drowning so it might be related.

Yes, i still feel a deep connection to ireland, and consider it to be my home, as it was the place where i've spent most of my lives, human pastlives as well as those in ir NanÒg But i feel drawn to other places as well, like Egypt, South America, France and Japan. The latter is the home of the Tengu Walk-In i'm sharing this body with, though. I myself have never lived in Japan, at least i don't think i did.

I see this has become an interesting topic XD I would like to write about my lives, the one in Japan and I had one in France. I barely remember that one, or when I was born back then. If I did, it would be bits and pieces here and there. I'd like to have someone with enough common sense to talk about it. Not turn it into some scenario from True Blood or The Vampire Diaries.

About the Red Road, Ousa, it almost reminds me the concept of Thelema. I can't remember off the top of my head but it like "Thou hast no right but to do what thou wilt". It's the idea that if this choice or action falls in line with one's purpose then performing this action aides in doing The Great Work. I'm not a Thelemite by the way, but the teaching are extremely interesting and thought provoking.
