Strange Sounds

One of my co-workers brought this up at lunch today, because we were all talking about movies, and then got into the horror genre discussion. She had received a link to a video like this one, I don't know the actual link she got via a friend on Facebook, but this is the cleanest in terms of sound quality that I was able to find about this phenomenon. This all started back in Jan, and there are many of these videos now on YouTube, with idea of their being related to everything from dragons awakening to trumpets of the apocalypse. As I understand it, the true cause has been linked as being the Earth's core grinding, causing massive plate shifts. I just thought it was interesting...

Thanks for sharing, Veil. It is really very interesting. The sound has a special tonality that hurts my ears. Even if I do not stand there I can feel strong vibration and shaking caused by that sound or action whatever.

In my opinion it is no "natural" sound, rather technical, sounds like in tool or machinery factory, but not really as there are dump and deep tonalities as well that really could come from deep within the earth.

I agree it does sound mechanical in many respects, and when I listened to the first of the videos I found on YouTube, I did subscribe to that theory. After looking at the array, however, it seems this is happening worldwide and there are those deep tonalities that you mentioned.
