Lighting strikes over full moons light, thunder claps and shatters words screamed in fear and hate, town people gather round the gallows as 7 line the stage with floors ready to open. Rain and wind cries thru the town as the chant of hang them, let them die repeats over and over, the priest walks to the first and asks for confession, and a no is said. Rain falls down from the sky like hail from an angry god ready to smite those who are unworthy, cries erupt as the first floor drops and the first in line falls silent. Gatherers cheer and scream, children cry as the face of the dead stairs at the crowd with hollow eyes, once neighbors and friends, stand on stage accused of crafting with satan and contorting with the devil the priest moves to the next in line to die only to receive the same, four floors fall in rows one after another, cries scream from the crowd, only to be drowned out by thunder and wind and rain. The preacher confronts them in confessions unheard he pulls the line sending them to their abyss while crowds cheer louder. Faces stare out their houses as the demons of the craft fall thru with no air left to breathe, thieves and liars gather more around the stage cheering, finally the seventh is up, this time the woman speaks to the preacher and crowd and silences them with words of power, she screams above the crowd as fear consumes their eyes and souls, while you condemn those priest who work the craft your liars and thieves and rapists cheer you on, and your facade of truth grows more, while you all scream words of lies and accuse of contorting you break your vowels everyday, let it be known that when I fall you shall bring the end of your peace and your god shall turn from you and your faith will break beneath your feet only to be listened to by the demons you seek to banish. While fear consumes the priest the final floor drops sending her descent and silence follows all around. No words spoke, no sound heard in an instant lighting cracks thru the sky striking her rope to the ground. Gatherers scramble at the sight, and darkness wells thru the lands as fire consumes all that once was the town, only the priest to cast sight on what was left fell in tears as his life he knew was destroyed by a single event. Indeed his faith was broken and his god did turn from him never to hear his prayers again.
