| I have it on good authority that in the dim and distant past, there was a strong bond that existed for some between the Shadow and the later races, especially the Sidhe and the Dragon.
So, where are all the Dragon Kin? Do we have any here as part of this forum?

| I seem to have met one recently, on MySpace of all places, but didn't think there'd be much point directing him here if he were the only one. | |

| I know of at least one member who is Dragon Kin, but they haven't posted in a while so they may have gone searching else where for a time. I'm hoping they will return and join in. Then maybe more Dragon will come along too.

| Yeah... actually where did you all get those fantastic avatars? Mine is my own work but it pales into insignificance next to your awesomeness. Although... actually... I don't aspire to awesomeness and as I am in love with my sweet angel maybe I'll keep him It would be good to know where all that incredible art came from though | |

| As one who used to consider myself a dragon, I suppose I will reply to this As for where all the dragons are, I have no idea. There used to be a few really good and popular forums geared towards dragonkin. However, at least one of them has permanently shut down, and since I have been on "hiatus" for quite some time I have lost touch with the dragon community. Actually, I just did a search and I did just now find another forum with some familiar dragonkin names on it. Looks like it's probably a good place, though I can't say for sure yet. So yes, there are quite a few dragons around, you just have to find them | |

| It's good to know you're back and that we have your link to them, be it in whatever form or shape that may be.
I have been putting the word about for some time regarding this forum, and hoping that the Dragonkin will decide, when the time is right, to join us here and re-establish past links.

| I will mention this forum to others when it seems right to do so. And, perhaps some will feel called to come look around. | |

| "I am and always will be Spirit, Body, Mind and Soul both Dragon and Tiger!"
"The myth of the Dragon doesn't have an exact origin. There have been suggestions in the past that the idea for the dragon may have come from dinosaur fossils. Others suggest that it is a type of ancestral memory that is combining the image of the bird of prey, the snake, and the tiger (all of which were very dangerous to our ancestors) to create the image of the dragon. Overall, the fossil idea is more widely recognized. The problem with giving a definite answer is that the dragon has simply been around too long. The dragon is one of our oldest mythological creatures. For now it appears that its origins have been lost. The dragon is also known as a wyrm, a serpent, the Naga, and the Great Serpent; to name a few. The Great Serpent is also called the Earth Mother. She is found in myths going back several thousand years and on at least three continents. Europe, from the Black Sea eastward, where one of her early names was Dana; Asia, from the Black Sea to India; and North America, in the Serpent Peoples myths. She is said to be called the Great Serpent because she can read and write in the language of life, which takes the form of two entwined serpents and is found in all living things. | That's pretty interesting, Ouza. I wonder if they came up with the idea that the Language of Life takes the form of two entwined serpents before people knew about the shape of DNA. If so, that would be interesting.

| Oh yes...the myths of the twined serpents are much much older than the discovery of DNA which was actually very recent in comparison. | |

| Subject: THE SON OF THE DRAGON LORD OF FIRE - FAFNIR Fri Feb 24, 2012 1:04 am | |
| HELLO ALL MY NAME IS DRAKON KNIGHTSIER AND YES I AM A DRAGON TO BE EXACT I AM THE SON OF THE GREAT DRAGON LORD OF FIRE THE GRAND FAFNIR AND MY MOTHER IS A WHITE DRAGON THOUGH I'M NOT SURE OF HER COMPLETE ORIGINS OR EXACTLY WHO SHE IS. BY THE WAY LAVIAH FOUND ME AND DIRECTED ME HERE. I HAVE BEEN THROUGH MANY LIVES HERE ON EARTH BUT OTHER THAN THAT I WAS JUST BIDING MY TIME BEFORE I TRULY STEPPED BACK OUT INTO THE COMMUNITY. BUT IT WAS TIAMAT THE GREAT MOTHER DRAGON THAT FIRST CREATED THE DRAGONS AND IT WAS ONE OF THEM THAT REBELLED AGAINST HER AND HER HUSBAND FINALLY KILLING THE TWO OF THEM FROM TIAMAT THE EARTH WAS MADE AND FROM HER HUSBAND HUMANKIND AND TO WATCH OVER THE WORLD THE DRAGONS CAME DOWN IN THEIR TRUE FORM BY THE ONE WHO HAD WON AGAINST TIAMAT THE MOTHER DRAGON OF CHAOS AND HER HUSBAND THE CHROMATIC DRAGON AS HE HAD BECOME. AS FOR WHY THE DRAGONS ARE NO LONGER ON THIS PLANE OF EXISTENCE IS BECAUSE THE HUMANS BECAME TO MUCH AND WAS DESTROYING THE LAND TO FAST SO THE DRAGONS IN THEIR WISDOM DECIDED TO PULL OUT AND SEND DRAGONS MUCH LIKE MY SELF DOWN IN HUMAN FORM TO WATCH AND STUDY THE HUMANS. AS FOR WHERE ALL THE DRAGON KIN IS MOST ARE IN HIDING BUT THOSE LIKE MY SELF ARE NO LONGER IN HIDING AND IN FACT EVERYTHING I HAVE STATED HERE IS TRUE.
SINCERELY DRAKON KNIGHTSIER BLESSED BE AND MAY THE DRAGON LORDS WATCH OVER US ALL

| Welcome to the group Drakon. Would it be possible for future replies to be posted in normal lettering? Reading all upper case is a bit of a struggle. The lines start running together.
I've met quite a few dragon kin on other boards recently, and could invite some of them over if anyone else is interested?

| Welcome Drakon. I hope you find this a safe and welcoming place to explore the possibility of opening channels between the fallen and the dragons.
Veil, if you have contacts to other dragons, it certainly won't hurt to ask.
I have always felt that the dragons have a big part to play in whatever lies in our future.

| Greetings and welcome to the forum Drakon,
it's good to have more contact with dragon kin and I hope that you will feel welcome here and join in with the threads or start new ones. As has been mentioned, please try to remember to type in lower case, as it is much easier to read and therefore more members will read it and be in a position to reply to what you have said and learn from all you have to share,
