| So, hello everyone that cares to listen.
I am sagehawk, I have had this name for... almost 10 years. I created it for myself as my new name after I dedicated myself to Wicca. I fallow 5 principles, to know, to dare, to will, to be silent and to go. Its called the witches pyramid. They are all represented in the pentagram that I am sure most here are familiar with. They also have corresponding elements(wind[know], fire[dare], water[will], earth[silent], spirit[go]).
I am very interested in science, specifically quantum theory. I also love researching anything metaphysical and seeing how it applies to quantum theory. I feel that science (the study of physical) and metaphysical principles(non-physical) need to be combined to really get the full understanding of existence and why we are here.
My above religion and interests have pretty much landed me here. I discovered the starseed/lightworker community about a year ago, and I agree with a lot of the thier theorys and goals. They all speak to me deeply... however for some reason I have hit snag with the whole 'light' concept. I have always felt 'darkness' was more my thing. Not that I am not a happy joyful person, just that things in the dark seem to make me happy, more so than rainbows and sunshine....
Night skys take my breath away, and I have felt more connection to 'god' looking at those stars than I have ever felt at a church or other religious building.
Anyways, about my spiritual 'kin self. I am not really sure what to call myself. I've traveled a lot in my souls time... from being among the Annunaki when they came here to earth, to being on Mars before it was reduced to a waste land by wars. And of course I have been here a great while as well. At least since before Turkey was called Turkey, when it was Lydia.
I dont think that souls have shapes, but I have many otherkin experiences involving some black bipedal leopard with wings. I also have vampiric tenancies that place me in the succubus category. Am I a God? a leopard creature thing? a vampire? I dont really care at this point, I dont have a name for what I am and my experiences and I am okay with that. I guess I am here to meet some new people and find the reason why I dont feel I mesh with this 'light' concept people seem to be going on about lately.

| Welcome to the forum ^^ I'm Capsha, or Haniel, whatever. I'm an archangel principality. I also identify with being a lightworker. I get what you say when you say that you feel more connected to God when you're looking at the stars rather than when you're in a church. I do most of my praying/worship lying on my back in a field gazing up at the night sky. It's cold in the highlands but it's nice. Metaphysics is also a big part of who I am. I do oracle, tarot, rune and aura readings. It'll be interesting to talk to you more and to hear some of your theories.
Until then, ~Capsha/Haniel~

| Greetings and welcome to the forum, sagehawk
I hope you enjoy your time here in our online home. As you can see, this is a home for all different Kin types and Humans, not just Shadow. In many ways it is important for some to have a greater and deeper understanding of who and what they are and were........ but for others it's not as important as just being aware and doing what needs to be done.
Much of what you say resonates with my spiritual side, as being pagan I find my of the hand of the Gods in nature than in any building made by man. What you see and feel looking at the stars I find when I look at something as 'simple' as a tree.
As for the light......... perhaps its because as Shadow I spent so much of my time bathed in the Light of Creation, but the shadow that I cast and that I, and my brothers were known for, speaks to me with greater peace and power and knowledge. For me, as much as my soul is made of fire, the fire does burn with black flames much of the time and the night is a place of infinite beauty for me, much more than the day.
I hope you will enjoy your time here and should you have any problems, feel free to contact any of the Mods or the Admin team and we will do all we can to resolve any issues as quickly as possible,
Welcome
Az

| Dear Sagehawk, Just reading your post which definitely parallels my soul's past also! We all have a lot in common here, although it looks otherwise we in fact come here to pool our thoughts and memories of the day to day and years gone past so that we all in fact benefit from one another's own collective past as well as up to the present! Like Az has stated I welcome you to the forum and hopefully all of us combined together will come to the conclusion of a well earned Self Realization! All we ask here is to have a driving desire with a loving intent and a sincere personal respect for other's and their thoughts and ideas as we all grow together! And besides we always have an old adage "When the tough get going the going get chocolate!" Ouza | |

| Ah its nice to find a place where people get what I mean about the dark. I have also noticed that everyone is sincerely polite. So far this is a nice place. I usually dont like otherkin hang outs... they all seem to be an angry lot most of the time...with rigid standards. not sure why... maybe most are stuck on "wrong body, hates earth, hates humans" or "I have a mental disorder I hate myself" ...its really a tiresome pattern. | |

| I know what you mean about some Otherkin forums that seem to be focussed entirely upon how crap it is to be human, or this can't be real so I must be insane. Well, I think most of us have wondered about our sanity on more than one occasion, but in the end when what we feel or think or know is backed up by others, you just can't escape from the kernels of truth that exist, as much as we might not want to at times! You'll soon discover that it's not so much politeness that we have here, it's respect for each individual and their thoughts and memories. Those who cannot respect others have no place here. You see.......... that wasn't so polite! Az | |

| Welcome to the forum.
A lot of what you say resonates with me. THe night sky is beautiful and I love the inky coolness of darkness. The sun is not my friend.
I am very much a happy bubbly person, as Az can attest and I also think I am a kind and generaly nice person, but I have a definite pull into the darkness. I have a fascination with death and beyond and with the realms of unconsciousness. I think that we all need to find out balance and wherever the balance lies there can't be light without darkness and anyone who tried to ignore or denythe latter will be out of balance totally

| I have been swamped with work, and didn't get to say this before, but welcome to the group. I've been reading your posts as I had a chance, and find them very interesting. Glad to have you here. | |

| Welcome As far as light/darkness... People tend to pair them with "good" and "bad". However, I disagree with this. Light is not inherently good, and darkness is not inherently bad. They simply are, and can have aspects of "good" or "bad" in either. | |

I realized that this good, evil and light, dark thing was just an old 'programming' if you will that doesnt serve me anymore. I mean, I dont think they truly exist. I think things simply are what they are. Its nice to release that burden.
