The White City

There are many people who have touched on this. Let's get some of the stories together

I had a vision of a white city the other day, but I'm not sure if it's the same one.
The buildings were tall, the streets wide, and there were people walking around. Everything, buildings, people, roads, was pure white and looked like they shone with their own light. The residents seemed neutral, like they took no one's side, but I felt like I could trust them enough to ask them for help. Whether they would give help or not is another question.
What is this place?
Is it anything like the white city others have seen?

I do remember a white city and yes the "neutral" part feels right, it's possible this is where the Shadow came from (????) then again this could be a different city all together - perhaps a neighboring city.

Are you talking about the white city on Sel'ar? I remember it well...

Could you share some more about this city on Sel'ar?

I'm also very interested in hearing of this "Sel'ar" location. By "on" you imply it is a planet or mountain, yes?

I was going back through my notes (every time I have a dream that seems important, or remember something, I write it down), and I came across a memory of what may be the white city.
I believe I was fairly young, because I was with a group that felt like a "class". We were on a big wooden ship that was flying- literally- towards a towering white wall. Below us was a flat layer of fluffy white clouds. We must have been very, very high up.
The wall surrounded the city, and in order to gain access we had to perform some kind of ceremony. Each of us had something in our hands- whatever was in mine felt very much like an egg to me. We were instructed to fly out to the wall and deposit this item in a carved out hollow at the base of the wall. I remember being very upset, because whatever I had was important to me, and the whole thing felt more like forced tribute then a rite of passage. Regardless, I flew out, dropped the egg-thing in the hollow, and flew back.
I don't have any recollection of the city itself, save for a harbor. Since the city was so bloody high up, I'm assuming it was for more flying ships.

i'm not sure about white, maybe alabaster is a better word, but i remember a city like that, it's where most of my memories take place! i mostly remember how the sun would set and turn all the buildings gold.... ah, what a lovely view XD it looked like a cloud bank when the sun hit it like that.

I dreamt once of a white crystaline castle looking city. It lied beside some sort of bay, and was surrounded by what seemed like mountains on all sides besides the bay, but i also felt as though this place was in some underground chasm or beneath a mountain range, partially because i remember crawling through a tunnel, and it's opening was of imposing heights; looking down at the crystalline castle. I remember exiting the tunnel and floating in the air just marvoling at the sight before me. I did not get to see inside the city, or those who inhabited it, because i awoke from my dream.. Feeling very disapointed to be back in this realm.

Since then, i dont remember dreaming about that place.

Sounds like there are a lot of White Cities out there, and they all sound stunning. Would love to see some of these places in person.
