I used to frequent forums years ago, but since then have gone through quite a few shifts and changes both internally/spiritually, and just in my life in general. Long story short, I recently realized how lonely and disconnected I was to my self and my spirituality (esp. of the otherkin nature), and decided to look for others like me, and I found all of you.

I used to have a pretty good idea of who and what I was, but as I said, things have changed, and I am rediscovering myself. I do know, though, that one aspect of my nature is a dragon, and the other seems to be angelic, or something similar. Which reminds me, my mother is very spiritual and intuitive, and when I was born, she had the strong intuitive feeling that I was an angel.
However, I feel that who I really AM extends far beyond the angel, the dragon, and of course my current human personality and past lives, which are aspects of myself. Though I couldn't say right now what that is lol wink.gif

I don't think I'll ramble on about all of my memories and all the things I've known/felt about myself right now (there's quite a bit), but may post about them later.
I also don't know how often I'll be able to be here, considering my last term of college has and probably will continue to be really busy and stressful.

However, I'm glad I found this forum, and I appreciate the way it's set up, the attitude you have and the respect you all hold for each other.

many thanks for all you have said so far.... and welcome to the forum. I hope you will enjoy your time here with us, and feel free enough to post more about your thoughts, feelings, and memories when and if it feels right to you. Don't worry about how often you are able to join in, we will be happy to hear from you when you have the time. Life can be busy at times, but we're not going anywhere so we'll be here for you when your college term has finished.

I think we have all had experiences of being part of forums where members offer equality and fairness and then stab you in the back as soon as you log off. That, however, will not happen here, as I believe that those drawn to this site are beyond such immature behaviour. And if they aren't, we have a strong Moderating team who will not stand for any negative behaviour. Open and passionate discussion is encouraged, but arrogance and childish behaviour would be stamped upon.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have, I'm sure someone here will be able to point you in the right direction. And join us in the chat section if it ever feels right.

According to greek mythology the Elysian Fields are where the better of us go after they die on this plain. It actually refers to the greek word "Elysion", which is a derivative of "Enelysion", which literally translates to "struck by lightning". It is assumed that it also means "blessed (struck) by Zeus (lightning).

Oooh interesting. I've heard of the Elysian fields before, but never about the other stuff you mentioned. The Enelysion - struck by lightning part, feels very interesting to me, though I can't quite say why right now.
